You will surely wonder why we need so much staff. The problem is that the work ethic of our helpers has always been very bad. Believe me, I've changed staff many times over the past 21 years. Totally unsuccessful. It is almost normal that 5 to 6 helpers just don't come to work. A day or two. Planning for urgently needed repairs is almost impossible and they can only be done if no more than 2 are missing. Of course, the helpers don't get any money if they don't come. In the last few weeks I have left some not so good helpers and hired new ones. Half the island is unemployed.
