Before we the party gets started, all the food has to be prepared. Of course Dam took over it all straight away and managed it brilliantly |
Bau, usually second vet assistant, today first man in the kitchen |
We didn't only fry things, we also had a barbeque and Dr. Sith was in charge for the meat himself. |
|
Bärbel and Günter Sybille with Markus Sybille and Markus both stayed for 6 months and took over the care for special-need dogs as well as badly injured ones....and there are plenty of them! |
The meat was prepared and the party could finally get started. Handing over presents for the helpers Our favourite game: Journey to Jerusalem Dancing and Music until it gets dark... ...and too soon after the party started it was over. In summer time it gets dark at 7pm already, that´s why the party was over very early. But we all went back to our homes in very good moods. |

Dr. Sith and....Hmm guess who! Yes, it's Sybille again! Sybille is coming back in 2015 to continue working with the ones who need special care. Thank you Sybille, you are doing a great job and Dr. Sith really likes working with you. |
Looks like someone got hot feet |
Also Silvia stayed for 6 months. Is she in the picture again? Sybille! |
Like every year, there were nice presents for the helpers. But they had to work for it! Everywhere we hid balls and every helper had to find to of them, to get one present. |
Let´s get started for the game. Ready? Go! The helpers waited outside the gate until the volunteers placed all the balls in good hidden places |
Hurah I have got it. |
....of course we did a good job hiding them...but Lek Chalin knows how to work the field. |
Later he took some lunch-sleeping-time out but in the evening he was totally fit again |
Finally everyone found two balls and the price-giving could start |
Marcus and our manger Wit - the soul of our foundation. He is absolutely trustworthy, something very important here and we are lucky to have him. It is very difficult to find trustworthy Thai employees. |
Bau with his present. What the hell may be inside? As every year everyone was very happy even if they always get almost the same present year to year. Especially ventilators are quite popular.
|
Dr. Sith |
Ow has been staying with us for over 10 years; he is a perfect photographer and knows every single dog. |
Dam is a long-time helper as well and I couldn’t imagine a better cleaning woman. |
Don |
Thai with Linda |
Every year we start a game after the price-giving: The Journey to Jerusalem can get started... |
Slowly, folks, we still do need these chairs!!!! |
Yes, we made it! |
|
The Final....one chair...two gamers!!!
|
Hans-Peter did his very best, but he couldn’t make it. To tore is t-shirt from his chest did not help at all to make him the "Match winner"! |
The winner Düng Here is a video of the game https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dWKmm6NtCfg&index=2&list=UU0WqMhiPPjKfNR44kFRjM9g |
