RAINPROOF ACCOMODATION FOR THE DOGS IN FRONT OF OUR HOUSE IN CHAWENG During some period of time more and more dogs came to our house. Of course we feed them and take care of the medicinal supply if they need. These dogs come and go on their own decisions. When the rainy season started and the first big rain was over, we realized that the dogs had no possibilities to find some dry space. The wooden bench was rotted and the roof was way too small and even leaky. This time our staff really worked great and in particular very fast. In just two days a nice and dry place was constructed. |

WE FOUND A NEW HOME AND WE GET STARTED RIGHT AWAY This year again we could help many dogs to fly into their new homes

In Germany, Martina takes care of finding homes for our DCRS dogs. During the last years, she managed to put up more than 80 dogs! Our shelter being overcrowded all the time- I don’t really know where we could have to keep all these dogs as well. Hopefully she can continue finding homes for our dogs which, otherwise, would certainly have to stay in the shelter until the end of their days. In Koh Samui we nearly can only place puppies. |

The Bear Family came all the way from Australia to see us and bought 35kgs of goodies with them for the Dogs and Cats plus they also received donations to purchase items you see on the table from Nas Khan, Natarsha Vella, Greencross Vet - Hoppers Crossing and Best Friends - Point Cook. Thank you so much! |

Maysa from Thailand designed these wonderful drawings. She sold them for 30 Baht an item. All in all she sold 50 items! She donated all the money to the DCRS! |

LING |

Regularly we check our darling LING’s condition. We clean his cage and give him new blankets. We tried to fix hamster drinking troughs outside his cage, because he uses to toss his water bowl over. But he is so very clever – and in no time he had destroyed everything. We keep working on that…. We inform you here how it came that we’ve got to take care of a monkey, too.
