Do you seriously think I would walk around the beach with that thing? Maybe I don't always listen to what I'm told but if there is any danger around, I quickly rush to my owners feet.

I am MAXI and no longer allwed on 'my beach' here in Chaweng.

Paivikki has taken me with her to Finland. Sooner or later I would have been poisoned on the beach, only because I'm so big and some tourists are scared of me.

I used to spend many years on Chaweng-Beach at the Central Bay. Then they started with fancy renovations with swimming pool etc and that was the end of them being all dog-friendly.

Me and my two friends (right in the picture) live together at the Coconut Beach Resort in Lamai, where you can meet us all. The Coconut is one of the few hotels, where dogs are not being chased away or poisoned.

The three of us are making sure that not a lot of new dogs show up here and of course we chase all the cats away from here, too.

Sarah is checking how well Anka is doing with cats. Animal friends who choose a dog from our shelter and have already cats at home have to be sure he/she is no killer. Anka passed through!
