ROSALIE (Female)

Hello, my name is Rosalie. I'm already a very old doggie but I'm a real lady and still going strong. As strong as I can anyway. I have been at the Dog and Cat Rescue Center for many years. There are enough stories for me to  easily write a book about everything I have gone through in my life and it would probably be a bestseller. But honestly speaking I'm not sure if I'd still have the mental strength to properly go through my past again. I have digested and worked through everything that has happened to me and have placed it all in a safe place now. My life before I got to the Dog Rescue Center was hard enough and things didn't get much better when I got to the shelter. The only main thing that changed is the fact that here at the shelter I have people who care for me, people who react when I need help and when I'm not feeling well or when I loose all my fur due to mange. I have overcome uncountable illnesses and injuries and I'm still here. Nothing has ever been smooth and easy going for me but that has only made me stronger. I'm very grateful that Rosemary from Australia has been supporting my stay here at the shelter for so many years. I am very proud to have her as my godmother and I hope that I can be her godparent dog for many years to come.
