POORLY (Male)

Hello, my name is Poorly! I used to live in a side road in Nathon and was often fed by dog friendly Thais or people who stayed in the little hotel near by. There were quite a few stray dogs living in the area. The outside and temple team of the Dog and Cat Rescue Center came regularly to check on us and gave their best to catch us all to get us vaccinated and eventually sterilized. That was a big and hard process for the team because non of us wanted to be touched by humans. The team did a great job and managed to get everybody operated but me. Of course the females had priority and so they kind of gave up on trying to catch me. Unfortunately I got very sick and was lying under a car for days. I wasn't able to move anymore and went for days without food. Luckily the team came by to check on us before it was too late for me. They totally ganged up on me and successfully caught me and immediately brought me to the shelter for treatment. They saved my life. Since I'm such a shy dog, the team decided to take me into the puppy house for treatment instead of putting me in one of the single boxes. I guess they already knew then that i would have to stay at the shelter for quite some time. Until today I never completely recovered and whenever the medication seemed to help for one problem, another problem appeared. I settled in very well in the puppy house and gotten used to taking several pills every day. It's probably a miracle that I'm still alive. But I am alive and on the days I feel good, I even fool around with the other dogs. I still won't let anybody touch me unless they force me for treatment purposes. I would be super happy if someone out there would sponsor me.
