Hello everyone, my name is Pinky. I'm a very smart and alert doggie. I was living in the Nathon area all my live. There was a lovely Thai lady who used to look after me. She let me stay around her house and she gave me food and water. That's how far our relationship went. I've been having some skin problems since i was a little puppy and therefore always been a very smelly and sick looking dog. Most people find that rather repulsive so I've never had any proper human contact and never really longed for it neither. From one day to another that Thai lady disappeared, I guess she passed away because she was already very old and didn't look too good in the end. Nobody cared to give me food after she had gone so i wandered around Nathon and settled in an area near a school and temple area. It was also close to the sea and the main ring road. I had lost all my fur and many people called the Dog Rescue to report me. The outside Team from the Dog Rescue as well as other animal friends started treating me with some pills for my skin but since nobody was allowed near me, handing out proper daily medication was very difficult for them. Eventually it was clear that I had to come into the shelter. It took them forever to catch me but finally they were successful. Sybille took me into her care at the shelter and spent a lot of time with me, gave me all her love and I slowly but surely started to trust her. Thanks to proper daily treatment and mental stability even my fur started to grow back and I was released back to Nathon. Unfortunately it didn't take long until it started again and in with no time i was yet again a totally naked dog. After another troublesome attempt to catch me, I am now back at the shelter. I recognized Sybille straight away and if someone spends a lot of time with me I even open up to humans - a little bit anyway. I'm not sure if I have to stay forever at the shelter now but it sure looks that way. I had not yet really arrived at the shelter when I was told that I would already have a sponsor. My reputation preceded me and so I am very grateful that I was selected for a sponsorship so quickly.
Emmie from the Netherlands will take care of me in the future. Thank you very much!
