LOUIS (Male)

Hello everyone, my name is Louis and I've been at the shelter for quite some time. I'm not the youngest anymore and spend a lot of my time just sleeping or chilling somewhere in the open kitchen area and let the world go by. I think I've had enough action and trauma in my life, I have no bad conscience when I don't do much all day long. Life on the outside was all about survival for me. That finally came to an end when i got to the Dog and Cat Rescue Center and I'm grateful for it. It's time to let the past go and just enjoy the lazy shelter life. Of course it's not always easy to watch other dogs suffering. There are so many sick and injured animals in here. I just keep telling myself that they are in a good place now and hopefully will get better.  My favorite time of the day is in the late afternoon, when the rice and chicken finished cooking. The helpers always prepare a huge amount of delicious food for the dogs in the single boxes and in the puppy house. My kitchen-friends and I always manage to get some pieces of meet before they distribute it. I feel happy and settled here. Is there anyone out there who would like to sponsor an old lazy fellow like me?
