My name is Josie and i came- together with Arya and Ray- to the Dog and Cat Rescue Center after Arya had a horrible accident. We used to hang around at a big gasoline station where we had a fun life and shared the territory with a few other doggie friends. We had a good life and basically all we needed. The gasoline station was covered with a huge roof and had several small roofed places on the premises where we found plenty of shade and shelter when it rained. To find water was no problem and we always got enough food from all kind of people. The manager from the gas station wasn't exactly a fan of us but tolerated us. One sad day Arya fell asleep under a parked car and was in such a deep sleep that she never heard the start of the engine. The car started driving away before she made it all the way out from underneath. Thankfully the Dog Rescue was called straight away and she received immediate help. Unfortunately the gasoline station manager used that situation and made sure that all resident dogs were removed at once, not only Arya who was badly injured but Ray and I had to leave too. I guess the manager paid a nice little amount to the Rescue Center that we were taken away too. Somehow it was nice that we could stay with Arya and be there for her in the beginning. But i guess all three of us thought we could return to our station at some point. That hope has faded now and we have made peace with the fact that we have become official Dog Rescue Dogs. Life is alright here and there sure is always a lot going on, especially for the dogs in the compounds close to the main gate and with view of the doctors room.
Thank you so much to family Staats for the sponsorship for Josie for 1 year!
