INSOBEL (Female)

My name is Insobel. I have been at the Dog and Cat Rescue Shelter for several years already. I used to be quite a naughty girl and didn't like it at all when humans tried to touch me. I had no need to be close to anybody a always laughed at all the dogs who would stand in line just to get a little attention and love from those strange humans. Over the years however things changed a little. Jay, a long-term volunteer who just wouldn't give up on me and gave her best to get close to me finally succeeded. As i said, I was naughty not just with humans but also with the other dogs. I might be a short and small doggie but I've always known how to behave in a dominant way and get the respect from the other dogs. Not seldom i would not only dominate other dogs but attack them when I got angry. Of course that was not tolerated by the Dog Rescue People and they had to move me to another compound several times because i cost too much trouble. That was always a horrible moment since i would not let them touch me. Jay managed to get my trust and was always the one who had to move me into another compound. Over time I started to enjoy her attention and the love and believe it or not, I started to stay in line for her attention too. I have calmed down over the years and got tired of being moved around so now I'm giving my best to behave and integrate into the compound I'm staying in. That sure makes life a lot easier.
