HALLE (Female)

My name is Halle and I've been at the Dog and Cat Rescue Center for several years already. I used to have a sponsor but for some reason the lady who used to support me cancelled that sponsorship. Maybe she had some financial problems or decided to support another organization. Whatever the reason, I tried to tell myself that it has nothing to do with me personally. I'm a nice and friendly doggie and would never hurt anyone. To say that I'm a happy and playful character would be a lie. I'm quite calm and often keep to myself and just observe the action around me. Whenever one of the volunteers comes into our compound I get up and try to soak in some of that love and attention too. I won't fight my way to the front but I sure get into the line and normally manage to get to the front. It feels good to spend some time with humans and it's sad that so few visitors find their way to our shelter these days. I guess it's because of that strange virus everyone is talking about. That Corona-Thing. People I've known for years just disappear and don't come back and as already said, hardly any visitors show up. What a strange year it has been. Hopefully you are all doing well out there and maybe one of you wants to help our Dog and Cat Rescue by taking over a sponsorship. It would be amazing if that someone would choose me.
