Hello, my name is Emilio and I'm very happy to introduce myself in order to hopefully find a sponsor one day. It's been a hard road for me and the Dog and Cat Rescue Center has never been that safe place it is for some other dogs at the shelter. Honestly speaking it's been quite the opposite for me. I have never felt safe or comfortable here. The only positive thing i can point out about this place is that there are some lovely people, especially the long term volunteers, who seem to care when there is a dog in the position I've been in. Unsafe, scared, helpless, eventually depressed and lost. It doesn't really matter why exactly I landed up at this place. Once I was here I knew straight away that this was my final destination and that I will never leave the shelter again. I was originally put in a rather smaller outside compound at the big shelter in Baan Taling Ngam, surrounded by walls and only a couple of doors with steel bars would give us the chance to look out. One door is directly behind the cat house so there is no view at all and the other door was constantly guarded by the strongest dogs in the compound. I sure was not one of them. In fact, I was constantly bullied and often attacked and dominated by the others. I never found my place in there. The more I pulled back the more I became a victim and some sort of toy for the leaders of the pack. I was then moved into the so called Flyer compound where unfortunately the exact same thing happened again. I never managed to prevail over the others.. Thankfully I was not the only oppressed dog in the compound so the Dog Rescue People had to do something and decided to move some of the dominant and sometimes aggressive dogs out. I'm grateful they did and I'm slowly finding my place in here and I'm giving my best to open up to humans as well. I'm still quite suspicious but I'm working on it.
Sharon from UK will take care of me in the future. Thank you very much!
