Hello, My name is Drew and I'm a very happy and still youngish doggie. My brother Drew and I came to the Dog and Cat Rescue Center a few years ago when we were still puppies. We looked very similar and it was interesting to see how not only our look but also our behavior changed. We were both very scared little puppies when we first arrived and overcoming to fact that we were taken away away from our mother and our siblings seemed like an unclimbable mountain. Some people in the village we used to live thought that there were just too many dogs around and got rid of some of us one sad morning. I'm not sure what exactly they did to some of the adult dogs who disappeared but we kept telling ourselves that they were placed in a new home, maybe with friends or family members. The same thing happened with some puppies, they just disappeared. Looking back now, my brother and I are very grateful that we were dumped at the Rescue Center. We received a lot of love and attention from the long term volunteers working in the puppy house and it didn't take long until we started playing with the others and enjoy life. Today we live just outside the main official shelter in Baan Taling Ngam where the Dog Rescue has rented a peace of land with a big bungalow on it - just for us. All together there are about 15 dogs on that peace of land. Unfortunately not many visitors know about our outside compound and therefore we have very little human contact. But the lovely helper Au comes to see us every day and some of the long term volunteers too. Therefore all is ok. With a bit of luck, my brother Berry and I even find a sponsor. That would be amazing!
Thank you so much to Angelika M. to sponsor Drew!
