BOUMI (Female)

I was living up at Moon Hut Bungalows, Maenam, but all the dogs were attacking me as I wasn't very pretty. This is the second time I've had mange. I was brought down to the Shelter in the arms of one of the volunteers as there wasn't room anywhere else in the car for me (there was loads of cats and dogs being transported home after their holiday at the shelter). Because of my skin condition, I deposited lots of dead skin on to the volunteer and she itched for hours after that. I was really shy when I came into the compound and feared that the dogs there too wouldn't like me. However, they don't bother me. I'm given a special bowl of food every day just for me as I'm too shy to push the other dogs aside from the bigger bowls. Brigitte says that in two months I will be beautiful again.

Great news: I found a new home on Koh Samui.
