BEAUTY (Female)

Hello, my name is Beauty. I'm not sure why my family gave me that name but maybe it's because they thought I was a really beautiful puppy. My Swedish family adopted me when I was only 3 months old and I was fortunate enough to experience a really happy childhood. We had a big house with an even bigger garden, we went for a beach walk almost every day and they let me be part of the family. I was brought up well and I learned how to behave from a very early age on, they even taught me some tricks. Everything was just perfect until the day came when my family had to leave the island and move back to their country. It was all very sudden and I remember that there was a lot of sadness and a lot of tears. Of course I didn't understand at first but when they dropped me off at the Dog and Cat Rescue Center I had a feeling that I would never see my family again. Unfortunately that's exactly what happened. I have settled in quite well at the shelter, I'm grateful for the time I had with my family and now I'm determined to make the best of what I have. The long term volunteers here at the shelter are very nice and whenever they come into the compound I show them how socialist I am and I get dead excited whenever they pay me some attention or give me a good old snuggle. Generally I behave quite inconspicuous and let the other dogs fight for the top-dog but whenever a human comes in I show myself from my best side.
