Hello, my name is Archie. I already have quite a few years on my shoulders and have gone through a lot in my life. All the years I lived on the street were tough for me and it was a constant fight for food, shelter and often for pure survival. After I was hit by a car and rescued by a really nice Thai lady who picked me up and brought me to the Dog Rescue, it took a long time for me until i would let anybody touch me. The lady who saved my life was only able to pick me up because i was unconscious. When I look back now, I guess that saved my life too. Had I been able to walk, I would have probably dragged myself somewhere to die. During the time I had to stay in a single box for intense treatment, I got kind of used to the people at the Rescue Shelter and started to open up a little. Now I live in a nice big outside compound and have calmed down a lot. I still don't really like to be touched and I'm a very quiet character but secretly I like to get some attention too and appreciate it when the long term volunteers come to visit.
Thank you so much to Eileen & Jenni for sponsoring Archi!!!
