AKIRA (Female)

Hello everyone out there in the big strange world! My name is Akira. I'm one of those dogs whose life has become so much better at the Dog and Cat Rescue Center. Compared to the unforgettable challenging years I spent on the streets, living at the shelter feels like a never-ending holiday. The days of pure struggle and fight to survive are over. Here at the shelter I have everything I need and even though I don't live in a big compound with lots of space to run around, I couldn't wish for more. I spend a lot of my time on this pretty cool bench they put in here and watch the action in the entrance area and open kitchen area right outside Dr. Siths office. All day long people and their dogs or cats come and go and the Dog Rescue people themselves are quite fun to watch too. I have turned into a very cuddly and affectionate dog, especially with the caring long term volunteers. Even though they are generally very busy, they always make sure that every individual gets some love and attention too. Sometimes I get a little bitchy with the other dogs, I tend to get a little jealous but I'm working on that personal defect. Is there anyone out there who would be willing to take over a sponsorship for me?
